Principal Auditions
3rd and 10th November 2024
Auditions for principal roles in our 2025 production of Nabucco will take place on Sunday 3rd November and Sunday 10th November 2024, at the West Church, Perth Road, Dundee, from 3.30pm to 6.00pm. Apply to be allocated a time-slot
For this production we are using the Ricordi score, singing the English translation, and the Musical Director has set audition pieces from this score for each role. Apply for details.
Anyone is welcome to audition, but we are actively seeking tenors, baritones and basses for the following roles:
NABUCCO: baritone
ISMAELE: tenor
ZACCARIA: bass
Roles may be double cast at the discretion of the production team.
Please note that although we are unable to offer a fee, as one of Scotland's leading community opera companies we do provide singers with the opportunity to experience these roles in a fully staged production with orchestra.
